Devil's Playground/Crags to the Summit
The trail that climbs to the summit of Pikes Peak from the northwest, starting near the Crags campground and going through the Devil's Playground, is a popular route.  Friends of the Peak has two Saturday projects planned for this trail, on August 2 and 23. We'll focus on a steep section where water is flowing down the trail, eroding it, and people are walking off trail.  The area is about a one mile hike in from the Devil's Playground parking lot, and is at about 12,500 feet elevation.  You can come help improve drainage and stabilize the trail.  Volunteers will carpool up Pikes Peak Highway for these projects.

Barr Trail
Friends of the Peak also has two Saturday projects remaining for Barr Trail.  On August 9 we'll focus on removing slip and trip hazards for runners, and might work on some other basic trail improvements as well.  September 6 is our annual project with our friends from AdAmAn, but they love company, so feel free to join in.

We're joining with Incline Friends for a Saturday project on September 13.  This project should be during the time when the Incline is closed for repairs.  We'll coordinate with CS Parks and Rec to help as needed.

Saint Mary's Falls
The alternate Thursday projects have been working on Seven Bridges, but for August and September will shift over to Saint Mary's Falls Trail.  The meeting location remains the same.  If you have one of the Thursdays free, 7:45 a.m. to around 2 p.m., you can help improve this popular trail.

Saturdays:  Barr Trail:  August 9, September 6
                   Devil's Playground:  August 2, 23
                   Incline:  September 13
